The 2007 event took place at Lancaster on Wednesday 11 July 2007. The race will be organised by the Lancaster and Morecambe Athletic Club. The course started and finished near to the Farmhouse Tavern, Morecambe Road, Lancaster.

In total, around 200 runners took part, 65 were members of the Lancashire Constabulary Athletics Section.

A fine, fairly warm, sunny evening gave the competitors an enjoyable 10 kilometre run along the River Lune cycle path and Snatchem's shoreline.

Individual Police Events

Veteran Supt Stuart Williams (HQ) won the Men's Open race in a time of 36.24 with Sue Moore (Eastern) winning the ladies title in a time of 49.10. Northern Division's DC Adele Brookbanks took the ladies Veteran 35+ title in a time of 50.16 with PS Derek Lodge (Southern) taking the male veteran 40+ title in a time of 39.33.

Police Teams

Once again Pennine Division won the Inter-Divisional Male Open Team Shield and Veteran Team titles. However, Northern Division won the Ladies Open Team event and Eastern Division won the Veteran Ladies Team event.

Post Race

Chief Superintendent David Mallaby who ran the race in 51.45, presented gift voucher prizes to the competitors at a post race presentation in the Farmhouse Tavern.
