Four miles for women and six miles for men. Each host provides adequate changing facilities, showers and a hot meal following. The league is challenging and competitive and has produced some excellent, talented cross country runners over the years. Notwithstanding this the league provides and excellent opportunity for any standard of runner to take part as there are no entry standards required. The races are held on a Wednesday afternoon and give those attending an opportunity at the very least to take part in a mid-week event that forms the basis of good all-round winter training.
