Athletics & Running Sports Section Inter-Divisional Cross Country Championships This popular winter cross-country race attracts 40 - 50 runners from the Lancashire force. The race is generally held over interesting and varied cross county terrain. Four miles for women and six miles for men. Adequate changing facilities, showers and a hot meal are provided. The race provides and excellent opportunity for any standard of runner to take part as there are no entry standards required. It also provides the basis of good all-round winter training. Any member of the club interested in taking part in this event should contact PC Steve Broadbent at Lancaster by e-mail. Entry forms will be automatically sent out by e-mail to those who have taken part in the last 2 years.
