| Crown Green Bowls Sports Section Introduction The Crown Green Bowls Section has a very active season throughout the Summer, catering for every level of bowler, at team and individual level. Lancashire Constabulary is very competitive at National level having won National League, Cup and Pairs in recent years. There are 13 active forces and members are given opportunity to play at top venues. Bowling is an ideal way to forge friendships, through sport, with colleagues from other forces. The National Police Leagues runs through the Summer. We host a fixture in Lancashire and attend five away fixtures. Members also compete in a one day pairs comp and a team knock-out at the end of the season. At the start of the season we hold a singles and pairs competition which includes several retired members of staff. New members are invited and would be made welcome.
