County Club

Introduction

The County Club operates independently of Divisional Clubs and has no particular base. However, most committee business is conducted at police headquarters.

Every member of Divisional Clubs are automatically attached to the County Club. A levy between 1 and 2 per member per year is paid by divisions that automatically affiliates individuals to the County Club.

The County Club has 32 defined sports sections that include a varied range of sporting activities. These tend to be geared toward competitive sport playing against other police forces and organisations. Most sports sections are attached to the Police Sport UK and compete in matches on regional and national levels against all UK police forces.

Financial support is given to members playing regional and national PSUK and County Police sports events. A greater percentage of financial support is given to playing of PSUK sport. A great percentage of this funding is supported by the Club lottery.
