Terms and Conditions

Applicants will be selected at the sole discretion of the Lancashire Constabulary County Club Committee whose decision will be final.

If you are under 18 years old you must be accompanied by your parent or legal guardian at the audition.

Application forms should be returned no later than 30 September 2007.

You acknowledge and agree to abide by the rules regulations terms and conditions for this competition as determined by the Club and that the Rules may be changed (including without limitation verbally) at any time by the Club and that you will be bound by such Rules. The Club's decisions shall be final.

Persons eligible to audition:

(i) Individual Acts - Only full members of the Sports and Social Club are eligible to enter as individuals.

(ii) Group Acts - If the act includes more than one person then at least 50% of the group may comprise full or honorary members - but the group must include one 'full' member. The remaining 50% of the group could therefore include non-police club members.

NB: Honorary members: Spouse, partner, children, retired members - for the purposes of the show honorary members can include pets!

Auditions will take place at Hutton Hall during October and November and will be judged by selected members of the County Club Committee.

Selected acts will go forward to the grand final in February 2008. (Date to be decided) These will be judged by a celebrity panel and the audience.

Individuals may audition for as many acts as they wish but only one act will be selected for the final show.

You must ensure that you have obtained all necessary and proper immunisations for any animals involved in your act and will provide to the Company all documentation or do any other acts as may be reasonably necessary for the Company to determine the animal is safe to participate in the show.

You must notify the Club, in advance, if you intend to:

(i)   Perform physical and/or dangerous stunts, explaining the full nature of the stunt;

(ii)  Use any form of equipment required as part of your act. You will be responsible for bringing such equipment (provided it is suitable for the audition location) and are responsible for ensuring that such equipment is safe and/or suitable for its purposes. Pyrotechnics are not permitted.
