Headquarters Introduction Headquarters Sports & Social Club provides a varied range of sport and social activities for its members, and tries to provide something for everybody. The Headquarters Club should not be confused with the County Club that operates at a different level and does not have a base at police HQ other than to conduct committee business. Summary of Activities A number of sport and recreation activities are available to all members. Sports include: Crown Green Bowling Sailing Golf Tennis Squash Tennis Cross country and road running Fitness facilities Recreational activities include: Licensed Bar Saturday night live entertainment Karaoke Nights Quiz Nights Discos Snooker, Darts, Bridge Organised excursions - short breaks, shopping, shows Children's Christmas parties Headquarters bar also provides a wide range of reasonably priced drinks, a big screen TV system showing most of the major sporting events. Headquarters Facilities and Activities Members 730 - 750 View Members Internal Police Systems Only County Sports Club Members are automatically affiliated to the County Club that offers as many as 24 sports activities. Players compete at a slightly higher level than divisional sport. The respective secretaries are always looking for keen, new players, irrespective of standard.
