PSUK National Swimming and Water-Polo Championships

The Police Sport UK national swimming and water polo championships are to be held at Stirling on 5 and 6 March 2005. The competition is open to police officers and police staff, both serving and retired. They also need to be full members of the Club.

ACPO Lifesaving Championships

The ACPO national lifesaving championships are to take place in Merseyside on 10 to 12 June 2005. These championships are open to police officers only.

Anyone wishing to be considered to represent the Lancashire Constabulary team in either of the above events, or to find out more about the competition, should contact Inspector Karen Simister on 209180 or by e-mail.

The 2004/2005 season commences with the first fixture starting at 2 pm on 6 October 2004. As always, these cross-country races are always competitive but at the same time enjoyable and provide the basis of ideal winter training.

They comprise six miles for men and four miles for women starting at 2 pm. In most cases we will meet at Bamber Bridge Police Station where minibus transport will proceed to the venue.
