Calling all Lancashire Constabulary Rugby Union Players
Lancashire Constabulary has entered the National British Police Rugby Union 7s tournament at Stourbridge Rugby Club taking place this Wednesday 16 September 2009.
Despite best of intentions and commitment from a suitable squad of 15 players we have had a significant number of cry-offs due to injury and unforeseen operational commitments. If we are not able to recruit more players at very short notice we may not have enough to put a side into the tournament.
If anyone out there is willing and able to play on Wednesday please get back in touch ASAP.
Aim to leave HQ as close to 7am Wed 16th Sept as poss. Transport is provided.
Arrive Stourbridge RUFC play tournament – times tba – should have min 4/5 games
Return to Lancashire on late PM/eve - wed 16th
As this is a full PSUK national event normal rules for time off for County Sport apply. Please let your supervision know this.
A Constabulary kit is provided but suitable footwear ie boots will be required.
