Police Sport UK National Weightlifting and Powerlifting Championships

The above event will take place on Saturday 27 October 2007 in Bournemouth.

As always, this event is open to all ability levels. Anyone interested in entering the above event should contact PS 2668 Kevin Kavanagh, Eastern Division.

Result

Police Sport UK National Championships

The above competition took place on Saturday 14 October 2006 at Hendon Police Training Centre hosted by the Metropolitan Police.

The Lancashire team consisted of

1^st 75kg Powerlifting Class

PC 3188 Tim Brown – Eastern Division

1st 110kg Powerlifting Class

PC 2936 Jonathan Walsh of Eastern,

1^st 90kg Powerlifting Class

PS 2668 Kevin Kavanagh of Eastern

PC Brown won his class setting 4 British Police records in the process, this in his first ever competition.

PC Walsh won his class also, thereby retaining his title.

PC Kavanagh won his class setting 2 British Police records in the process, also retaining his title.

PSUK Championships 2006

The annual Police Sport UK powerlifting, weightlifting and wrestling competitions will be held on the weekend of the 13 to 15 October 2006 at the Peel Centre, Metropolitan Police Recruit Training School, London.

PSUK National Competition

The above event was hosted by Strathclyde Police and held at the Palace of Art, Glasgow. Results as follows:-

PC 2936 Jon Walsh – Eastern Division

1^st place 110kg unequipped powerlifting,

1^st place overall unequipped powerlifting,

PS 2668 Kevin Kavanagh – Eastern Division

1^st place 90kg unequipped powerlifting,

2^nd place overall unequipped powerlifting.
