Course

From Site of Police HQ, DH1 5TT. There’s limited facilities due to the open plan nature of the HQ and security arrangements.

The route is mostly grass and trail with some gravel paths suitable for fell / trail shoes or spikes, following wet weather it can get quite muddy.  

Facilities

There will be toilets and some changing rooms although these will only accommodate a small number of people.

Post Race Meal

Following the race there will be hot soup and a roll, tea or coffee and homemade cakes.

Directions

A1(M) Junction 62 Exit the roundabout (1st exit)onto A690 towards Durham. After approx. 1.8 miles at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Leazes Rd/A690. Continue to follow A690 Go through 1 roundabout.

At the traffic light controlled roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Framwelgate/A691. Continue to follow A691 for 0.6 miles. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto B6532. After 0.4 miles at the roundabout, take the 4th exit, go through 1 roundabout. Follow signs for NPCCL, turning right onto single lane track to old tennis courts.
