Course

The course will be the same as previous years - 2 x 3 mile laps. There will be an option for some runners to run a one-lap course 2.8 miles.

They are fairly hallenging, hilly sections with spectacular views from its high point. The course can be muddy and wet. Course suitable for spikes.

Facilities

Parking is on the opposite side of the river along with the shower and changing facilities. Registration and the start is at the Pavilion.

Post Race Meal

Post race soup and a roll will be provided at the Pavilion Cafe in Witton Park

Prizes

This is the last fixture of the season so NPCCL prizes will be presented.

Directions

 

From the M65 (Junction 3)

Take the A674 exit off the island toward Blackburn. Turn right at the traffic lights onto Preston Old Road. Travel about three miles toward Blackburn. After two miles go straight ahead at a mini island. After one more mile, Witton Park is located on the left as you descend a hill.

 

Turn into the Park and park in the main car park. The Sports Pavilion is located 300 metres away across the Park.
