2013/2014 Season

The 10^th and final fixture of the 2013/2014 season will be at hosted by Lancashire Constabulary at Witton Park, Blackburn on Wednesday 12 March 2014 starting at 2pm. Post code - BB2 2TP.

The race will incorporate the Lancashire Police Inter-Divisional Championships. The course will be around six miles through woodland and farm and playing fields. Suited to trail or off road shoes.

Hot food will be provided at the Houghton Arms, off J3, M65.

This will be followed by the NPCCL end of season prize presentation, Lancashire Inter-Divisional presentation and NPCCL AGM.

Parking and changing: Please use the car park located on the other side of the river. The entrance is on the Preston side of the usual park entry point. The changing rooms are also located here – not at the pavilion.

The start will be near to the pavilion.

Directions

Thank you to Shaun Bott and his team for hosting the 9th season fixture! An undulating, challenging route on a seven mile shale track around Carsington Water. The race ended at the head of the dam on a very long and straight path to finish! Fine sunny weather conditions made this fixture a most enjoyable afternoon of running.

Food was served at the local pub after the race.
